No king reigns forever. But once you’ve reached the celebrity status, your fans would expect nothing but the best from You.
One of Nigeria’s finest rappers, Ice Prince, who’s presently on a ‘Jos to the World’ tour, recently found himself bearing the brunt of an unimpressed fan when he congratulated US president-elect, Donald Trump as the ‘baddest guy ever liveth’.
With three albums, one EP and over 20 collaborations with respected musicians across world, Ice Prince has proved himself as one of the best and he’s not even struggling.
He’s also the man behind some of Nigeria’s popular songs including ‘Oleku’, ‘Superstar’, ‘Juju’, ‘Boss’ and ‘I Swear’ featuring American rapper, French Montana.
‘I am really excited about this album, not only because I am releasing it under my Super Cool Cats label but it shows my growth. It’s been a long journey and to be able to share that with my fans is simply rewarding,’ the rapper stated after the release of his third studio album, Jos to the World.
The 19-track album features hip-hop duo Krept & Konan, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Koker, Runtown, Timaya, Vanessa Mdee of Tanzania and more.
Ice’s style of music might have changed, but that doesn’t disqualify him as an A-list rapper in Nigeria and Africa.
The problem is if his fans are ready to embrace his CHANGE.
