Nigeria and Benin will most likely co-host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, according to Nigeria Football Federation, President Amaju Pinnick has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to him, the countries are currently putting in bids to co-host the tournament with the Benin Republic, and Nigeria’s Minister of Sports has already given his endorsement on the bidding.
Pinnick added that it is high time Nigeria hosted an international tournament because there are many advantages attached to hosting of such competitions.
His words, “We are putting a bid together for a co-hosting of the tournament with the Benin Republic.”
