Gennaro Gattuso has said that Italy are in good hands following Roberto Mancini’s appointment as head coach. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Offering his full support to his successor, Gattuso hailed Mancini‘s wealth of experience, insisting that the team is well-prepared for the future.

He added that Roberto has what it takes to revive Italian football because he won a trophy with the national team years ago.
His words, “I had 10 wonderful months. The lads I coached gave me their all.
And it’s a wound that will remain for as long as I live, because it was a deep wound.
I’d say he is a great coach with a wealth of experience.
He’s a great manager; he’s someone who has already won with the national team, and I obviously wish him all the best from the bottom of my heart.”
