Manchester United legend, Mikael Sylvester has come out to say that it’ll be hard for the club to buy players while country football is going on. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, it’ll definitely be a slow market with players going for international duty, so he only expects acceleration of deals when the players get back from holiday.
Sylvester added that De Jong has been great since his start at Ajax, and he’ll surely be a good midfield signing.
His words, “I think it’s a slow market, we’ve had players go to international (duty), it’s quite normal.”
“The acceleration will arrive when the players come back (from holiday). I’m sure there is a good plan for targets with the sporting director and the board since he was appointed so I’m not concerned about that.”
“De Jong has been great since his start at Ajax, he’s been growing into that position in Barcelona. For Eriksen, it’s an unbelievable story coming back and doing what he did for Brentford is incredible.”
“There are a number of players linked with Manchester United but it’s about getting the deal done which is a different matter. It’s good these players have been linked with Man United because that shows the club are still attractive despite not being at its best this season.”
