Popular Nigerian stylist, Toyin Lawani has come out to raise alarm on social media on the rampant occurrence of insecurity and terrorism in Nigeria. She recently had her say via her Instagram page, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, nothing is working well in the country as everything is getting expensive daily, and because the economy is unfavourable for businesses to grow, it has led to starvation, suicide or depression.
Toyin added that it is sad to face the current reality of not feeling safe in your own country.
Her words, “PEOPLE ARE BEING KIDNAPPED FROM THEIR HOMES AND KILLED IN NIGERIA ,
IMAGINE YOU CAN’T EVEN BE SAFE IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY ,
NOTHING IS REALLY WORKING ,
BUSINESSES ARE SUFFERING,
PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING,
FOOD IS EXPENSIVE,
TRANSPORTATION IS EXPENSIVE AND PAY IS NOT GOING UP ,
YET PEOPLE ARE OUT OF JOBS…”
