The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results for candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released before midnight on Friday.
The announcement was contained in a statement shared on X by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
“This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, April 16, 2026, that their results will be released today before midnight,” the statement read.
It added that an official announcement would be made to the public and published on the board’s page once the results become available.
The UTME, conducted annually by JAMB for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria, commenced on April 16, 2026.
