The All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government Appeal Committee said it has not recorded any petition from the party members challenging the conduct of the congress.
Chairman of the Committee, Abdullahi Abubakar stated this to newsmen at the party’s headquarters in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
He said the committee was in the state for three days to receive any complains from the members of the party with regard to the concluded APC Local Government Congress to ensure amicable ratification based on social justice among all.
Abdullahi explained that the committee was established in accordance with the party’s constitutional provision in promoting unity, progress, justice and fairness among APC faithful and the party.
“There was no single individual or group of people that approached us/with written or verbal complaint with regards to the just-concluded APC local government congresses,” he said.
He however commended the APC members in the state for the way and manner they conducted themselves, which led to the overwhelming success of the congress in the state.
