President Goodluck Jonathan will on Friday visit Chibok, the village where more than 200 schoolgirls were abducted a month ago by the Boko Haram sect, senior government officials said.
Reuters reports that it will be Jonathan’s first visit to Chibok, the epicentre of a growing international effort to rescue the girls, since they were abducted.
Officials said he will also travel to Paris, France, for a regional security summit where Boko Haram will be discussed.
