The duo of Mr. Yomi Sholanke and Mr. Olusola Salau of Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State were filled with joy and appreciation as they were empowered with Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry cars on Friday, December 2, 2016 by Omoilu Foundation.
Stating the reasons for the humanitarian work embarked upon by the Senator Buruji Kashamu-inspired Omoilu Foundaton in the last 12 years, the State coordinator of the Foundation, Otunba (Comrade) Niyi Osoba says;
“It is inline with our policy as a foundation to identify with people that are less privileged in the society, trying to meet their immediate needs and see how we can give them hope, because we believe once there is life there is hope and we are all one irrespective of any zone of the state we belong, that is why we move around the 20 local government areas in Ogun State to give out food items and materials to the less privileged in identifying with their plight,”
Presenting the vehicles to the beneficiaries, the State coordinator of the foundation, Otunba (Comrade) Niyi Osoba said the gesture further demonstrate the desire and commitment of the Senator Kashamu – inspired Omoilu Foundation to plight of the masses.
Speaking after receiving the keys to a Toyota Corolla car, one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Yomi Sholanke, thanked Senator Kashamu for the wonderful gift.
“I am surprise and can’t believe I will receive a Toyota Corolla car as a gift as it is unexpected. It is as if I am dreaming at the moment, it is very difficult to receive a gift of this magnitude. I want to use this opportunity to thank Senator Kashamu for this wonderful gift and I also pray to Allah to keep him alive for us for many more years to come,” he said.
