Hearing in the suit seeking to reinstate impeached Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State suffered a setback on Thursday as the trial judge, Okon Abang, of the Federal High Court, Lagos, was unavoidably absent.
The suit was earlier slated for judgment, but Justice Abang suspended it in order to hear a fresh application brought by one of the defendants.
But hearing could not go on Thursday as the judge was said to have traveled to Abuja on official duty.
Other cases listed for hearing in the court also suffered similar fate as they were all adjourned.
However, it was learnt that hearing has been slated for today, Friday.
