The small screen is about to be graced by one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Julia Roberts.
Roberts has signed on to star in a TV adaptation of Maria Semple’s book Today Will Be Different according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The book was originally published in September 2016 and will see the 49-year-old Oscar winner play the role of Eleanor Ford.
Ford is a woman who wakes up expecting to live the best day of her life but has to temper those expectations when strange events intervene.
Semple will write the limited series while Julia Roberts will be a producer.
‘I’m giddy that Eleanor Flood will be brought to life by Julia Roberts,’ Semple told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘This will be a fun ride!’
This is not Roberts’ first time on TV, as she previously featured in Ryan Murphy‘s HBO TV movie, The Normal Heart.
She was most recently seen in Jodie Foster’s Money Monster and will next be seen in Wonder, an adaptation of RJ Palacio’s book about a young boy with a facial deformity.
