Nigeria’s foremost philanthropist, business mogul and billionaire, Sir Adebukunola Kesington Adebutu , hosted the eminent Remo Obas to a banquet at Churchill Hotel, London, on Monday, September 2, 2019.

The event was not an all comers affair as it was basically centered on honouring the kings who have remained the custodian of Remo culture and values.

Sir Adebutu, who is the Balogun of Remoland, in his short speech, emphasised the need for Remo people to remain united and called on other prominent sons and daughters of Remoland, both in diaspora and at home, to close ranks and join hands with the kings for the fast pace development of Remo and its people.

On his own part, the former Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, Hon (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, called for politics without bitterness among Remo people.

The Otun Ajagungbade of Remoland and Okanlomo of Iperu Remo, was of the opinion that Remo people should associate freely with any political party of their choice. To him, such step guarantees their constitutional right of freedom of association.

He, also, called for unity and development of Remo in general.
