    Kogi: PDP wins Ogori Magongo State Constituency seat

    The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the Ogori Magongo State Constituency election in Kogi State, Hon. Bode Ogunmola, has been declared the winner.

    Declaring the result of the election, Mr Ekundayo Mejebi, the returning officer, said Hon. Bode Ogunmola defeated Major Akerejola of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

    Hon. Ogunmola scored 2,910 votes to defeat his close rival, Major Akerejola, who scored 2,163.

    Ogunmola is the immediate past Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Kogi State.
