Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections and former governor of Anambra State, paid a visit to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Monday.
Accompanied by some of his aides, Obi arrived at Makinde’s office on Monday morning.
The visit is reported to be related to the recent explosion that occurred in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The explosion took place at Dejo Oyelese Close, Bodija Housing Estate in Ibadan.
The purpose of Obi’s visit was not immediately disclosed, but it is speculated to be linked to discussions about the aftermath of the explosion and possible assistance or support.
