Judgment on petitions filed with the Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal following the 2023 election has been scheduled.
On Monday, September 25th, a verdict will be announced.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor, revealed this on Saturday.

The ruling, according to Rhodes-Vivour’s X post, is scheduled to be issued on Monday.
Posting online, he said, “We have just been informed that judgement on our election petition at the tribunal will be delivered on Monday, the 25th of September.”
Rhodes-Vivour and Abdul-Azeez Adediran, candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), both filed petitions with the tribunal.
The two groups are asking the tribunal to overturn the re-election of All Progressives Congress (APC) governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the grounds that his party engaged in electoral fraud.
They both want to be crowned victorious in this election.
