Lil Wayne has been keeping busy lately, with projects including January’s Dedication 6: Reloaded, which featured Drake and Juelz Santana.
Now Wayne is set to dip back into the fashion world, with an all-new capsule collection.
Partnering with Neiman Marcus for the release, Young Money Clothing is the rapper’s first extensive foray into the world of fashion since he dropped Trukfit years ago.
Encompassing a variety of graphic-heavy goods, the line includes long-sleeved T-shirts, caps and layering pieces, ranging from coaches jackets to hoodies. Neutral tones inform the majority of the range, except for the bold red coaches, with branding ranging from a curved “YOUNG MONEY” to a fused “Y” and “M.” Unlike Trukfit’s loose fits and all-over prints, Young Money Clothing is more in line with today’s wardrobe-accentuating merch craze, which features participants from Migos and Kendrick Lamar to Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake.
Young Money Clothing drops February 16 at Neiman Marcus, and Wayne will hit the retailer’s Beverly Hills location that same day from 2 to 4 p.m.
