Lil Wayne’s legal battle with Cash Money continues.
A few days before Halloween 2018, Lil Wayne and his music company, Aspire Music Group, filed documents to dismiss Birdman’s Cash Money countersuit.
Weezy denys the Cash Money Records founder’s claim that he conspired a scheme to take a bigger portion of Drake’s profits.
In the lawsuit, Aspire stated the allegations make no sense.
In addition, Weezy accuses Birdman and his label of “completely rewriting” history, and trying to “concoct a new fantasy narrative that casts Cash Money as the long-suffering victim of a scheme orchestrated by the very parties that it just settled with – Young Money and its owner principal Dwayne Carter.”
To further their case, Aspire brought up the fact that if the scheme was real, Weezy would be partaking in actions that would result in a financial loss, which he claims is absurd.
