Ex Inter Milan player, Radja Nainggolan has come out to say that he warned Romelu Lukaku against returning to Chelsea last summer. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he believes the Belgian made a big mistake by deciding to leave San Siro because the Inter Milan team was perfectly shaped around him.
Nainggolan added that Lukaku has always dreamt of making it big at Chelsea, but his spells at the club never end well.
His words, “I had told Lukaku that he was the best striker in the world at Inter. The team and the tactical system were shaped around him.”
“He dreamt of making it at Chelsea, but it’s the second time that he goes there and it always ends up in the same way.”
“Had he stayed at Inter, he would have been the best striker in the world for four or five years and I keep telling him this.”
