Manchester United legend David Beckham has come out to say that the behaviour of the squad during their postseason tour of Asia has been disappointing. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though people like to say what footballers do on the pitch is all that matters, it is wrong for MUFC players to misrepresent the badge off it.
Beckham added that he saw a lot of Manchester United players acting in the wrong manner during the club’s post-season tour, and it is very unacceptable to him as a fan.
His words, “I don’t like seeing what’s happening at the club.
It’s true that it’s the pitch that matters, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a lover of Manchester United. You have to represent the badge. I’ve seen a lot of things where players didn’t act in the right way.
We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant.
Everywhere we travelled, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or to take pictures. You have to respect that.”

Reportedly on the verge of being dismissed, Ferguson’s job was saved by victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final.
The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
