Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has said Manchester United should sack Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and sign Massimiliano Allegri this summer.
The Italian is now available after being sacked by Juventus on Friday after five trophy-laden seasons in Turin.
Steve believes there is no contest between both managers and United should seal the deal immediately.
His words, “I know there’s the human element in it,”
“But really?”
“Who would you rather have as your manager, Allegri or Solskjaer?
“Seriously, it’s no contest.”
On his sack, Allegri said, “We evaluated the future of Juventus and obviously the club decided to take a direction next year without me, but that doesn’t change anything.
“We have grown together and it is the right moment to leave the club in the best possible way.”
