Manchester United are miles away from meeting Leicester City’s £80 million valuation for England defender Harry Maguire, according to recent reports.
Man Utd coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified the Leicester star as the answer to his team’s defensive issues after going for Ajax and Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt, and failing.
But after tabling an initial offer of just £40m for Maguire in June, Man United are still far from matching Leicester’s wanting price for a player they sign for £12m just 2 years ago.
Reports have it that the red devils want to pay £60m and there is no expectation at the club that the deal is close.
However, Maguire is keen to move to the club.
