The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is set to host a joint wedding ceremony for nine of his children, all scheduled to take place on the same day.
The former governor of Zamfara State will hold the large-scale wedding ceremony on February 6, 2026, at the Central Mosque in Abuja.
Details of the event emerged following the circulation of a general invitation card announcing the date and venue of the multiple weddings.
Subsequent wedding cards also revealed the names of several couples expected to tie the knot at the ceremony.
According to the invitation, a former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, is set to marry Nana Bello Matawalle.
Also listed is Ibrahim Sahabi Liman, who will wed Farida Bello Matawalle, while Safiya Bello Matawalle is to be married to Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani.
Another daughter of the minister, Aisha Bello Matawalle, is also scheduled to marry Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki.
The joint ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries and well-wishers from across the country.
