France manager, Didier Deschamps has come out to hit back at Luis Enrique’s criticism of Kylian Mbappe. This is coming after the striker captained Les Bleus to a record win, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he does not agree with Enrique saying Mbappe can contribute more to the PSG team, because the Frenchman has proven time and time again that he is a fantastic captain.

Didier added that Kylian is an extraordinary player who gives everything on the pitch for club and country.
His words, “I expect more from him. In his role as captain, he is perfect. He is an extraordinary player. Everything. He can bring in serenity to the group, not only on the field.”
Enrique had said, “I am not very happy with Kylian [Mbappe] today. Why? Because managers are so strange. About goals, I don’t have to say anything, but I think he can help the team more in a different way. I told that to him first (before you) because it’s not a private conversation. We think Kylian is one of the best players in the world. No doubt. But we need more and we want him doing more things.”
