CLEVELAND, OH–(Marketwired – December 30, 2013) – MCPc, a leading technology consultancy and integrator, today announced a new partnership with Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry. MCPc will be working with Gartner in 2014 and beyond, including utilizing the research provider’s massive resources in conducting industry research, emerging technology reports, and insights in technology go-to-market metrics.
“This is a huge deal,” said Jed Ayres, MCPc’s senior vice president of partner management and marketing. “Gartner is the industry standard in research and optics in information technology. This is something that many firms do not have in their arsenal, and we are proud that Gartner has agreed to work with us.” Ayres went on to say that through this new partnership, MCPc clients will directly benefit. As MCPc works with Gartner, MCPc will be able to consult and guide their clients with more robust information, especially in trends of cost, performance, staffing, and information security levels.
The beginning of this special relationship will commence with the MCPc event, Game Changers, on January 9th. MCPc will be coordinating meetings between Gartner specialists and analysts and select clients. Mark A. Margevicius, a vice president and research director in Gartner research, will be in attendance at Game Changers. Mr. Margevicius will be available to meet and speak one-on-one with select clients during the event. Mr. Margevicius covers client-side computing policies, end-user computing, virtualization, PC hardware, and server-based computing.
Darin Haines, the chief technology officer for MCPc, expressed his excitement surrounding this partnership, saying, “We are exceptionally pleased to be working with Gartner. Their research capabilities will enhance our ability to serve our clients and keep them abreast of the rapidly evolving technology environment.”
Game Changers will also feature a Solutions Expo presentation from more than 40 of MCPc’s partners in the technology industry, including Cisco, Citrix, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, NetApp, VMware, and a host of other companies.
MCPc is the definitive leader of technology solutions in the region, and their national presence has grown exponentially over the last 18 months, serving 26 markets across the United States. MCPc’s undisputed dominance in the Cleveland market is a nod to the nationally-ranked prominence of the Anyplace Workspace®, recently recognized by CRN with the 2013 Best of Breed Business Transformation Elite Award, selected from thousands of technology companies. This industry recognition, among several other 2013 awards from VMWare, Cisco, and others, cements MCPc as the region’s leading total technology solutions provider.
