Meek Mill might just end up back behind bars again. The MMG rapper, who spent nearly six months in jail last year for a probation violation, took to Instagram to post an image bearing the words ‘Prayers go up, blessings go down,’ captioned with a lengthy update on his legal standing.
The Philadelphia native was initially convicted of gun possession and drug dealing back in 2008 and was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison that was cut short in exchange for a five-year parole agreement.
He went on to schedule concert performances and the judge revoked his travel permit in 2012, but it was the following year that he was accused of violating probation for failing to report his travel plans.
By 2014, his probation was revoked after the judge found his behaviour while on parole to be dubious.
He was sentenced to prison that July, and was released in December.
