    Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong has come out to say that Messi is the best player at the club by far.De Jong recently revealed that he hopes to see the Argentine continuing at Barca next season.

    According to him, he has the feeling that Messi is happy in Barcelona, and he expects him to stay and keep helping the team.

    Frenkie added that it is very special to play with Lionel on the pitch because he has been the best in the world for a long time.

    His words, “I have the feeling he’s happy in Barcelona.”

    “I really hope he stays, because he helps us. He’s still the best player by far.”

    On discussing with Messi personally, “Saying that he should stay? No, not directly. But we talk about a lot of things.”

    “It’s special to play with him. When I was 12 years old, he was already the best in the world.”
