The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has called on President Bola Tinubu to arrest and prosecute Sunday Adeyemi, popularly known as Igboho, a Yoruba nation agitator.
MACBAN cited the arrest and prosecution of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), as a precedent that should apply to Igboho.
Baba Othman Ngelzarma, the National President of MACBAN, made the statement in response to Igboho’s recent remarks calling for the expulsion of Fulani herders from the Southwest.

Igboho, who recently returned to Nigeria after two years of detention in Benin Republic, accused Fulani herders of killing farmers in the Southwest.
Ngelzarma described Igboho’s statement as unlawful and treasonous.
He called on President Tinubu and relevant security agencies to arrest and prosecute Igboho for advocating the actualization of Oduduwa nation, which he deemed a treasonous act.
The statement further emphasized that if Nnamdi Kanu could be held behind bars for a similar offense, there is no reason why Sunday Igboho should be allowed to go unpunished.
