Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola has announced the compulsory use of face mask in public places by residents as from tomorrow, April 24.
He revealed this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan today.
According to him, the decision was taken as part of the resolutions by the South West Governors at its virtual meeting and it will help to curb the spread of the deadly virus in the state.
He added that anyone who fails to comply will definitely be punished so all residents should get their masks ready before stepping out of their various homes.
