Mu`azu Keen On Co-operation And Prayers For PDP To Succeed

The National Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu`azu, has called for the cooperation and prayers of party members to enable him and the party leadership to succeed.

He made the call on Wednesday in Abuja, when Gov. Sa’idu Dakingari of Kebbi led a delegation of the party stakeholders in the state on a courtesy call on him.

Mu`azu said that although the task ahead was not an easy one, it could be surmounted with prayers and cooperation of party members.
.
“Beyond paying homage to me, I will like to beg you to come on board very sincerely and work assiduously with me and the Governor and other leaders in Kebbi.
.
“Cooperate and collaborate with us so that we will be able to achieve even greater success than we have done before.
.
“I appeal to all of you, I believe in God and so do you. I believe in the powers of prayers, put me in your prayers.
.
“The job is not easy you need to balance it. I therefore appeal to you all to put me in your prayers, so that this job will be easy for me and my colleagues,” Mu`azu said.

He maintained that if the members of the party in Kebbi were sincere to themselves, the PDP would win the state in the 2015 general election in a land slide.

The party national chairman however, advised aspirants to political offices against rancour, adding that power is freely given to man by God.
.
“I want to appeal to all of you to know that Allah is the person that gives power; I want you to please know that it is only God that gives power and only God gives Governor.
.
“ Only God gives Senators and members of the House of Representatives and only Allah gives all power to whom He wishes at the time He wishes,’’ he stressed.
.
According to him, whoever wins an election should be supported by others to ensure his or her success for the benefit of all.

Mu`azu reassured party members that all loyal and committed party members who contributed to its success would be compensated.
.
“I assure you, we will not neglect anybody`s contribution in the party.
.
“I will make sure that whoever contributes to the party`s success is compensated.
.
Those of you who want to contribute please do and let us know that such contribution was made.
.
“We will tell the President at the appropriate time that this people require recognition and compensation for their loyalty and dedication to our party’’.

He further called on the delegation to ensure they address the party`s crisis in its Kebbi chapter.

Earlier, Kebbi Governor Saidu Dakingari said that the visit was to pledge the commitment, loyalty and dedication of members of PDP in Kebbi to the party national chairman and his executive.
.
He assured that the party that the chapter would deliver Kebbi in 2015 generaelections, adding that the crisis within the Kebbi PDP was being addressed.
.
“There is no community, no society and no member of a single party who does not have problems; all we need to do is to sort out our problems which are not beyond solving,’’ he said.
.
He further assured that the problems of the party in Kebbi chapter would be solved given the support of the party leadership.
