Ex Ajax star, Sjaak Swart has come out to say that Manchester United is the right place for new signing, Donny van de Beek.
Sjaak Swart recently revealed that Old Trafford is a better option for the Holland star ahead of Real Madrid or Arsenal.
According to him, Mufc are a great club that will help the midfielder improve his football in a better league, so he made the right choice.
He added that Arsenal really wanted him but the money just proved too much for the London club.
“Manchester United is certainly the right choice,”
“There were more interested clubs, such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Arsenal.
“There were six in total but because of the coronavirus it all ended. It was already a regular idea in March that he would go to Madrid, but because of the virus all of that was postponed. Clubs had no income and they could not sell players.
“Ultimately Manchester United pushed a move through and they are of course a great club. They used to be a championship club and they now want to build towards that again.”

“But they just couldn’t get the money for a transfer. Even the biggest clubs struggle. Arsenal is a great club but Man Utd will certainly be an interesting adventure.”
