Colombian defender Yerry Mina has shared why his move to Barcelona did not work. He recently revealed that his Barcelona stint became a nightmare before he left.
Speaking to the press, Mina said that his time at Barca was so bad that coach Ernesto Valverde stopped speaking to him after his first day at the club.

According to him, despite rejecting Real Madrid for Barcelona, Valverde didn’t say a word to him for 7 months, and he barely got the chance to prove his worth.
He stated that his stint as a Barcelona player got even more miserable after Rakitic injured him in training.
“Real Madrid were also there, but I wanted Barcelona. I arrived and Valverde only spoke to me on the first day. For seven months he didn’t speak to me. Despite winning La Liga and the Cup, I played very little and suffered a foot injury after a foul by Rakitic in training,” he said.
Mina further noted that he eventually made up his mind to leave the Spanish club in search of quality game time.
He concluded by saying that Jose Mourinho wanted him at Old Trafford, but he ended up at Everton with Marco Silva.
“I wanted to leave Barcelona, even though the fans adored me. But I wanted to play. Mourinho, who was at Manchester United, called me.
He said: ‘If you’re fit, you’ll play.’ But I had to recover. Marco Silva convinced me to go to Everton,” he added.
