Bayern Munich defender, Joshua Kimmich has come out to say his winning goal vs Borussia Dortmund is the best of his career.
Kimmich recently revealed that he was told before the match that Roman Burki often stands off his line so he decided to take advantage during the crucial game.
According to him, the goal was very important for his club and he is proud to have been the one to score it.
Hummels added that the goal from Joshua was a moment of genius and the league is now fully in the hands of Bayern Munich.
His words, “That was the best goal of my career – it was so important,”
“We were told before the game that Burki often stands off his line.”
Hummels added, “Sometimes games are decided by moments of genius. That was the case today,”
“I think that all other teams are out of the title race. Now, it’s all in the hands of Bayern.
“We just have to hope that they will drop points three times in six games. If there’s any chance, we want to be there to take it.”
Can admitted that it is over for BvB, “We have to be realistic. Bayern are now seven points clear of us,”
“We need to look at ourselves and win the remaining games. If nothing happens, Bayern will win the title.”
