My Mother Was Barren For 20 Years Before My Birth – Ebenezer Obey

Legendary Jùjú musician Chief Ebenezer Obey has said that his mother was barren for 20 years before his birth. He recently revealed that his mum was childless in her first marriage, and fans have been reacting.

Speaking during an interview on Monicazation’s YouTube series Tales of Our Legends, Ebenezer described his birth as a divine testimony, stressing that his mother only conceived when she met his dad in Abeokuta two decades later.

Obey added that he was born at Massey Street Hospital in Lagos because Idogo, Ogun, had no medical facility at the time.

His words, “My history is an awesome testimony.”
