Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to say that Everton would be a tricky opponent on Boxing Day. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Everton will not be the perfect opponent right now because they are in a good moment with solid results and performances to show for it.

Pep added that his players know that they must be at their best to get a good result at the Etihad.

His words, “They are not the perfect opponent. It is about us to come back to our best. It will take time. We have to get results as quickly as possible. We are facing Everton and they are in a good moment, their results and performances show it.”
