Former Nigeria captain, Mutiu Adepoju has come out to react to Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis saying he will no longer sign players playing in the Africa Cup of Nations. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the president can go ahead with his current stance but he should know that the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona giants would be the biggest losers if they execute their conditions.
Mutiu added that before Koulibaly moved to Chelsea, he was a very key member of Napoli’s squad for a long time, so Napoli will just be missing out on signings like that.
His words, “They will be the biggest losers because African players have played a key role in their history,”
“Before Khalidou [Koulibaly] moved to Chelsea, he played a key role for the club. That can be said of [Andre-Frank] Zambo Anguissa down to [Victor] Osimhen. These players have proven that players from Africa are quality.”
