    NDLEA Arrest Drug Traffickers At Nnamdi Azikwe Airport

    The Nigerian Drugs Law Enforvement Agency has reportedly arrested two drug peddlers at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

    The two traffickers were arrested while attempting to peddle hard drugs outside the country. Following their arrest at the Abuja Airport, NDLEA seized 14.4kg of cocaine from the two alleged drug peddlers.

    The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency stated that drug traffickers have deviced new means by which they operate and conceal their activities from the NDLEA.

    The NDLEA spokesperson, Mr Jonah Achema stated that the NDLEA have discovered the new methods adopted by drug traffickers to hide their activities.

    Mr Achema noted that the two suspects arrested for drug peddling are males. According to him the 14.4kg cocaine which the NDLEA retrieved from the two suspects were wrapped in four packets of chocolate sweets and upon evaluation was discovered to be cocaine.

    He stated that NDLEA operatives also retrieved 12 parcels of cellophane wrappers, 7.2kg, containing whitish substances which subject to test are also cocaine.
