President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Nigeria on Monday for France on a three-day state visit, Thisday reports.

During the visit, the president is expected to hold discussions with the French President, Francois Hollande on the war against terror and bilateral ties between the two countries.

Presidency sources told Thisday that the president’s itinerary and his delegation would be revealed this weekend before he departs for France.

Both leaders will, among other issues, be expected to exchange views on the progress made so far and further support that could be given to Nigeria to end the insurgency.
