The wives of the Nigerian senators have joined their husbands in the Senate to mourn the demise of their dear sister, Mrs Nnaji Anne Nnenna who passed away on Saturday.
In a statement released on Monday 11th September, 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria by the Senate Spokesperson, Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi; Mrs. Anne Nnaji was a gentle person and a pillar of support to her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother and a public-spirited woman.
The Chair of Forum of Senators’ Wives, H.E Mrs. Toyin Saraki has expressed deep sadness over the loss, adding that the Forum will miss her dearly.
We commiserate with her husband, Senator Gilbert Nnaji (Enugu East), the entire family and the people of Enugu East Senatorial District and pray the Almighty will grant her soul eternal rest.
