Nigeria’s First Lady congratulates Jonah Jang for clocking seventy years

The wife of Nigerian President, Patience Jonathan has described the Governor of Plateau State,   Jonah David Jang as a visionary leader, who has been blessed with the qualities of an exemplary democrat and model statesman.

The First Lady stated this on Friday March 14, 2014 in a congratulatory message to the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.

While noting that the Governor had joined the respected league of septuagenarians in Nigeria, she recalled his outstanding contributions during those years to the development of Nigeria, particularly in the old Gongola State where he governed and now in Plateau State, where has continued to pilot the affairs of the State with wisdom and humility.

While wishing him a memorable birthday, she prayed that God in his infinite mercy would continue to imbue the Governor with the courage and strength to serve his fatherland. She also wished him divine grace, God’s abundant favour and sound health.
