smart adeyemiChairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory, Senator Smart Adeyemi, on Tuesday expressed confidence that Nigeria’s successful hosting of the World Economic Forum on Africa would provide a better platform to address the issue of insurgency in the country.

The senator, who stated this in Abuja during an interview with journalists, pointed out that most investors that would attend the global event would key into the nation’s economic potential with a view to investing in it.

“This is a good development that is coming at this time, because more investors will come and invest. Once people are gainfully employed, frustration will not come in and the risk of temptation of somebody considering suicide action, would be greatly reduced”, Adeyemi said.
