According to the statement, Audi conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of the late officer as well as officers and men of the corps across the country.
The NSCDC boss also directed a high-powered delegation from the national headquarters to pay a condolence visit to the bereaved family. He assured that the corps would ensure the officer receives a befitting burial and that her post-service benefits are duly paid.
Audi appealed to personnel of the corps to continue to pray for the service and urged them not to be discouraged by the unfortunate incident but to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties, describing the development as an act of God.
