Watford striker Odion Ighalo has signed for Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai.
Ighalo, 27, scored 39 goals in 100 appearances since moving to the club from Granada on an initial loan move in July 2014.
Sources said that the Nigeria international was in talks, and the striker has now signed for the Chinese club for a reported £20 million fee.
A statement read: “The Hornets can confirm that Odion Ighalo has agreed a permanent move to Changchun Yatai…. All at Watford FC thank Odion for his contributions to the club, and wish him the best of luck for his future career.”
Watford are happy to cash in on Ighalo having brought in Mauro Zarate from Fiorentina on a permanent deal and M’Baye Niang on loan from AC Milan.
