The National Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday presented the PDP Official Governorship Flag to Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu and his deputy, Alhaja Opeyemi Jemilat Alagbe as the party candidates for the 2019 Gubernatorial Election in Ogun State.

The National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secondus while handing over the flag at the PDP Wadata house in Abuja said Adebutu like other candidates from other states fulfilled all provisions by the electoral law and the party constitution to emerge as the party Candidate in Ogun State.

According to a release issued by the Media Consultant to Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organisation, Secondus was quoted to have said “after obtaining the nomination forms from the Party Secretariat signed by me, Ladi Adebutu participated in the candidates’ screening exercise and was duly elected in the party’s primary election conducted by our National working Committee, therefore, he is qualified to be the flag bearer of our party in Ogun State”.

He went further saying “”Adebutu is the authentic governorship candidate of our party in Ogun state. You can’t just come from somewhere to steal the mandate. It is criminal to print party forms for yourself, screen yourself and also declare yourself as the winner.

Once again, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu, I congratulate you sincerely and your Deputy”
