Ogun State government has warned Okada riders who are migrating to the state after their operations were restricted in Lagos to have a rethink.
In a recent statement by Remmy Hazzan, the Special Adviser on Public Communications to Governor Dapo Abiodun, he revealed that any Okada rider that is planning to leave Lagos for Ogun State is not welcome.
According to him, the state does not have the capacity to cope with the security risk migrating bikers would pose to the state.
He added that the Okada business is prone to various security issues and this is why they keep getting banned in several parts of Nigeria.
He also said using motorcycles for commercial operation is not in the schedule of the National Transportation policy.
