Omooba Sunday Solarin FCA, the Ogun State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), once again congratulated all the PDP National Delegates from 36 states of the federation on their victory at the congress where they were elected.
The party members who voted you as delegates did so with the strong belief that you will use the power vested in you in electing the best PDP Presidential candidate for the general election in 2023.
The situation we find ourselves in Nigeria today is unpalatable and regrettable. Nigerians clamour for a PDP Presidential candidate to rescue us from the manacles of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
I must appeal to you to jettison emotions and ethnic affiliation and allow reason and a good sense of judgement to prevail in electing the right presidential candidate on May 29, 2022.
We must look beyond our individual ambitions and interests. Our decision should be a collective one and be based on the country and its people.
Vote right, and Nigeria shall be great again.
