Former media aide to late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, on Thursday accused President Bola Tinubu of destroying everything he associates with, declaring that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is finished ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Onochie made the remarks in a post on her X handle while reacting to an Artificial Intelligence, AI-generated video showing Buhari interviewing Tinubu on the state of the APC and his performance in office.
According to her, Tinubu has no pathway to victory in the next presidential election.
“Whatever @officialABAT touches, he destroys. APC is gone.
“Tinubu has no pathway to 2027. He is gone. Tinubu is gone. God bless Nigeria,” she wrote.
Her comments come amid increasing political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 elections, with opposition parties intensifying efforts to challenge the ruling APC.
The APC currently controls 31 states across the country and has continued consultations aimed at strengthening its position ahead of the next general elections.
