The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has raised concerns over reported cases of extra-judicial killings in Osogbo, the state capital, and other parts of the state.
The party, in a statement issued by its Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, on Saturday, said the reported incidents remained a major concern to residents and stakeholders.

The APC said its expectation that the conclusion of the August 15, 2026, governorship election would bring an end to the reported killings had not been realised.
The party also expressed concern over a reported attack in the Owo-Eba area, near Ilesa Garage in Osogbo, where two people were allegedly killed by unidentified assailants on Friday.
According to the APC, the victims were attacked with guns, machetes, knives and cudgels.
The party identified one of the deceased as Small Rugged, while the second victim was identified as Seyi Osha. It added that several others sustained injuries during the incident.
The APC described the reported violence as capable of creating fear among residents and discouraging people from other parts of the country from visiting or doing business in Osun.
It called on the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke to intensify efforts to protect lives and property and prevent further killings in the state.
The party also urged the police and other security agencies to strengthen their operations and ensure that those responsible for the reported attacks are apprehended and brought before the law.
The Osun APC stressed that no individual should be subjected to extrajudicial punishment, insisting that allegations of wrongdoing must be addressed through due judicial process.
The party sympathised with residents affected by the violence and urged stakeholders to work with security agencies to restore safety and confidence across the state.
The police had earlier confirmed the deaths of two people in a suspected cult-related clash in Osogbo and said four others sustained gunshot injuries. The State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Zungura, directed tactical teams to apprehend those responsible.
