Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called on Osun indigenes residing in Ondo State to vote en masse for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Agboola Ajayi, in the upcoming Ondo governorship election.
During a meeting in Akure with Osun residents, Adeleke emphasized that supporting Ajayi would be a strong show of loyalty and commitment to his administration.
He argued that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government in Ondo should be replaced to pave the way for development and prosperity in the state.
Adeleke urged voters to consider the ongoing hardships in the country as a reminder of the need for change.
“The current difficulties faced by Nigerians should be a lesson, and we must ensure it is not repeated in the future,” he said.
The governor encouraged Ondo State residents to elect Ajayi, adding that joining the “league of states” experiencing rapid development across the South-West would be beneficial.
“I urge you to go out and spread the message that light is coming to Ondo State. The sun shall shine again,” Adeleke stated.
“Tell our people that I am fully behind Ajayi to secure victory. Embark on a house-to-house campaign. We need to work hard to ensure success at the polls.”
