    ….As INEC corrected itself immediately

Members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State have been asked to put their mind at rest as Justice Olamide Folahanmi Oloyede (rtd) is still remain the deputy governorship candidate of the party in the forthcoming September 22 governorship election in the state.

This word of assurance was given by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Adelakin Ajao in Osogbo while reacting to a recent report that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had not changed the former deputy governorship candidate, Mr Arowolo Oladele to that of Oloyede as legally demanded by the leadership of the party in the state.

“I am happy to inform our teeming members and supporters of our party in Osun State that Justice Olamide Folahanmi Oloyede is still the authentic Deputy Governorship Candidate of our party in the September 22 governorship election in Osun,” Ajao said.

He therefore admonished all members and supporters of the party not to be disturbed by the report but continue in their effort to ensure victory for the party in the governorship election.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has corrected itself immediately after the release of the earlier reports, saying no cause for alarm over the error.
