Pa Edwin Clark, leader of the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has called on the Federal Government to appoint a special task force to ensure the rescue of the remaining Chibok girls held by Boko Haram.
Speaking at a briefing in Abuja to mark the 10th anniversary of the Chibok girls’ abduction, Clark expressed dissatisfaction with past administrations’ failure to rescue the girls.
He urged President Bola Tinubu to spare no effort in securing their release.

Clark highlighted that about 90 girls are still missing after a decade, emphasizing the urgency of their rescue.
He recommended the appointment of a special task force comprising brave and competent soldiers, who are transparent and not nepotistic.
The proposed task force’s primary responsibility would be to travel to Sambisa Forest and other relevant locations to search for and rescue the abducted girls.
Clark also suggested imposing a time limit for the task force to accomplish its mission.
